What merging keeps and what it drops
Merging copies each page’s content, fonts and images into one new document, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-compressed or blurred. The order on screen is the order in the file: whole documents first, then any single pages you dragged elsewhere.
Document-level extras do not come along. Bookmarks (the outline), file attachments and interactive form fields belong to each original file rather than to its pages, so the merged PDF has none of them. If a form matters, fill and flatten it first; if bookmarks matter, merge in a desktop editor that rebuilds the outline.
Files are added in the order you drop them. To put a cover letter first, drop it first or drag it to the top before merging, then scroll the thumbnails once to check the order.
How to merge PDF3 steps, all on your device
- Add the PDFs. Drop two or more PDFs (or tap Open files). Images are welcome too; each becomes a page.
- Set the order. Move whole files up or down, or drag single pages. Remove any page you don’t want.
- Merge. Tap Merge and download one PDF. The first file’s title and author carry over.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many PDFs can I merge?
As many as your device’s memory allows. Dozens of ordinary documents are fine; the page warns you when the total gets very large.
Do links and form fields survive a merge?
Page content, images and fonts are copied exactly. Bookmarks and live form fields from the individual files are not carried into the merged file; fill or flatten forms first if you need them.
Can I merge PDFs with images in one go?
Yes. Drop JPG, PNG or WebP files alongside the PDFs and each image becomes a page at its place in the order.
