Penis Size Percentile Chart

On the erect chart, the 50th percentile (median) length is about 13.5 cm (5.3 in) bone-pressed and the median girth is about 11.7 cm (4.6 in), based on the Veale et al. (2015) nomograms of 15,521 men. Half of men fall above these values and half below.

The 90th percentile erect length is roughly 15.6 cm (6.1 in) and 90th percentile erect girth is about 13.0 cm (5.1 in). Being at the 90th percentile means you are larger than about 90% of men. Use the interactive calculator to find your exact percentile.

Volume is a geometric estimate that models the penis as a cylinder: V = girth² × length ÷ (4π). It uses the bone-pressed (anatomical) length even when the chart is showing non-bone-pressed lengths, so the volume reflects true size rather than the visible portion.

Bone-pressed (BP) length presses the ruler into the pubic fat pad to the bone, which is how research studies measure. Non-bone-pressed (NBP) is measured flush against the skin, as most people self-measure, and reads shorter — typically 1–3 cm depending on body fat. The percentile curves come from Veale et al. (2015), a systematic review in BJU International that pooled 17 clinician-measured studies covering 15,521 men — still the only source publishing full percentile nomograms. Newer, larger meta-analyses (Belladelli 2023; Mostafaei 2025) report similar averages.
