Removing pages cleanly

Deleting builds a new file from the pages you keep, which is why blank separator sheets, duplicate scans and unwanted cover pages disappear without a trace and the file usually shrinks. Typing a range such as 2, 5-7 selects those pages for you, handy in long documents.

Selection is shown on the thumbnails before anything is saved. Your original file on disk is never touched: the result downloads as a new copy, so keep the original until you have checked the new one.

Pages are removed from the copy only. If you open several files, the result is one combined PDF, so when the files must stay separate, run the tool once per file. The page count on the download card lets you confirm how many pages are left.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I get a deleted page back?

Yes, until you leave the page: Undo restores it. Your original file is never changed; the tool always saves a new copy.

Does deleting pages make the file smaller?

Usually. Pages are copied into a new file, so fonts and images used only by the removed pages are left out.

Can I delete every other page?

Select the pages to go by tapping them, or type them as a list such as 2, 4, 6, 8. That is a common clean-up after double-sided scanning picks up blank backs.
