Bangkok keeps Indochina Time (ICT), UTC+7, all year round: its clocks do not change for summer. Phones and computers set Bangkok’s clocks from the Asia/Bangkok zone of the IANA tz database, and so does this page.
Thailand left Bangkok Mean Time, UTC+6:42:04, in April 1920 and has kept UTC+7 ever since, without summer time. The same clock is used in Cambodia and Laos, which share Bangkok’s tz database zone, and also in Vietnam and western Indonesia, including Jakarta.
Bangkok is an hour behind Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and China, which keep UTC+8, even though Singapore lies further west than parts of Thailand.
