How to do Child’s Pose
- 1Kneel with your big toes touching and knees hip width apart (or together).
- 2Sit your hips back toward your heels.
- 3Fold forward and walk your hands out in front, resting your forehead on the mat.
- 4Breathe slowly into your back for 5–10 breaths.
When to pick it: Pick it to rest during a flow, to unwind the lower back, or to finish a workout. Put a pillow under your hips if they don’t reach your heels.
