Math Worksheet Generator
Printable math practice that is new every time: pick the skill, then print the sheet with its answer key or practise on screen. The link keeps the exact sheet, so you can print it again.
Key facts
- In the US Common Core, children know all sums of two one-digit numbers from memory by the end of grade 2, and all products of two one-digit numbers by the end of grade 3.

What each grade practisesCommon Core goals for grades 1–5, with a sheet for each
What the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics expect in each grade, with a sheet for each goal. Schools and countries differ, so use it as a starting point.
Grade 1
Add and subtract within 20; find the unknown number in an equation; tell time in hours and half hours. (1.OA.C.6, 1.OA.D.8, 1.MD.B.3)
Grade 2
Add and subtract within 100 fluently; tell time to the nearest five minutes. (2.NBT.B.5, 2.MD.C.7)
Grade 3
Know all products of two one-digit numbers from memory; add and subtract within 1000; understand fractions with denominators 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8; tell time to the minute. (3.OA.C.7, 3.NBT.A.2, 3.NF, 3.MD.A.1)
Grade 4
Multiply up to four digits by one digit and two digits by two; divide up to four-digit numbers by one digit, with remainders; add and subtract fractions with like denominators. (4.NBT.B.5, 4.NBT.B.6, 4.NF.B.3)
Grade 5
Multiply multi-digit whole numbers with the standard algorithm; divide up to four-digit dividends by two-digit divisors. (5.NBT.B.5, 5.NBT.B.6)
How the sheets are madeSeeded, so a link always reprints the same sheet
Each sheet comes from a seeded random number generator (mulberry32): the sheet number and your options decide every problem, so the same link gives the same sheet on any device, and New sheet just picks a new number.
Regrouping is checked column by column: with Always, at least one column carries (or borrows), and with Never no column does. Subtraction answers are never negative unless you allow it under More options.
Division without remainders builds each problem from divisor × quotient, so it always comes out exactly, with a dividend of the number of digits you chose. With remainders allowed, almost every problem has one.
Times tables shuffled use every fact once before any repeats, and never the same fact twice in a row. One-digit factors and divisors start at 2, since × 1 and ÷ 1 practise nothing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these math worksheets free to print?
Yes. Every sheet and its answer key prints free, with no sign-up and no watermark. The sheets are made in your browser, so nothing you choose is sent anywhere or saved.
How do I print the same worksheet again?
The page address holds every option and the sheet number, so copy the link (⋯ → Copy link) or bookmark it, and it will always open and print the same problems. The sheet number is also printed at the bottom of each page. Press New sheet for different problems with the same settings.
What does regrouping mean?
Regrouping is carrying in addition (7 + 5 makes 12, so the 1 moves to the tens column) and borrowing in subtraction (in 52 − 17 you take a ten to make 12 − 7). Choose Always to practise it on every problem, Never for sheets where no column needs it, or Mixed.
How do I print on A4 or US Letter paper?
Pick the paper under More options (it starts on Letter in the US and Canada and A4 elsewhere), then press Print. The page sets its own size and margins, so leave the scale at 100% (Default) in the print dialog. The answer key starts on a new page, so you can print the sheet alone by choosing page 1 or leaving the key out.
Can my child do the worksheet on screen?
Yes. Choose Practice to get the same problems with answer boxes. Check answers marks each one and shows the right answer for any that are wrong. Nothing is saved or sent: clearing or making a new sheet starts fresh.
Which worksheet suits my child’s grade?
Open “What each grade practises” on this page: it lists the Common Core goals for grades 1 to 5 with a ready-made sheet for each. Children learn at different speeds, so start with a sheet they can mostly do and make it harder from there.
