Word list in the Binary Decimal password generator (/tools/password-generator, the Passphrase tab) The passphrase words are the EFF Large Wordlist for passphrases, by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (2016), from https://www.eff.org/dice (file: https://www.eff.org/files/2016/07/18/eff_large_wordlist.txt, SHA-256 addd35536511597a02fa0a9ff1e5284677b8883b83e986e43f15a3db996b903e). It is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 United States licence (CC BY 3.0 US): https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/us/ Changes: the dice numbers are dropped, and the list's four hyphenated words (drop-down, felt-tip, t-shirt, yo-yo) are left out, so that a hyphen in a passphrase always separates two words. That leaves 7,772 of its 7,776 words. The words themselves are unchanged. The EFF does not endorse Binary Decimal or this tool. The words ship in the page's JavaScript (src/lib/passphraseWords.js in the site's source).
